Driveway and Garden in Leathley

Driveway & Garden, Leathley

We recently carried out our largest domestic project to date at a private home in Leathley, West Yorkshire, the transformation of an entire driveway and garden. The project consisted of four main areas including the main driveway, a courtyard area, walling works and creation of garden paths.

For the main driveway, we used 960m2 of Natural Paving’s Fossestone Cinder Block Paving to create a traditional driveway, very much in keeping with the aesthetic of the house. For the neighbouring courtyard area, we used complementary Reclaimed York Stone Cobble Settes and Yorkshire Stone Flags across a total space of 190m2 and 65m2 respectively. The result is a beautiful and versatile outside space, perfect for outdoor dining, recreational activities and entertaining.

We also created a private garden patio with 55m2 of walling works with wall copings. Stonewalling is a more traditional and hardwearing alternative to wooden fencing and really suited this particular property well. The patio area itself covered an area of 50m2 for which we used Natural Paving’s Classicstone Golden Fossil Sandstone. To accompany this, we also created 200m2 of garden paths in the same material to tie all of the areas together.

The different materials used in this project complimented each other well and broke up the large space whilst still providing continuity across the entire property. During the project, we worked with the client to ensure their brief was fully met, discussing the materials that would best suit the property and surrounding area. If you are considering a similar project or would like to recreate some of the work carried out here, please contact us to discuss your needs and how we could help.
